This program is a key logger. It runs on your computer at all times and records all the keyboard keys you press. Although keyloggers could have some benefits (allowing you to recover work that was lost), in practice they are used to spy on people. Since they capture everything you type, your passwords, credit card numbers, and personal correspondence can all be recorded by key loggers.
