- Method of infection: WinAntiSpyware has been installed by other malicious applictions and via drive by active-X.
- Advertising: WinAntiSpyware uses false positives to trick the user into believing their computer is infected with a virus. WinAntiSpyware is sometimes installed with real viruses to scare the user into purchasing the full version in order to remove the virus.
- Stability issues: WinAntiSpyware runs as a background process and installs files into the sytem directory. Because it runs as a background process and nests itself into the operating system it may cause stability problems.
