- Method of infection: Secure PC Solutions offers a suite of applications on their website which pose as legit security software. These products do little to actually protect users. They use false positives as scare tactics to trick users into purchasing full versions of their software.
- Advertising: 1Click uses false positives to pressure users into purchasing the full version of their software. Upon detecting a file 1Click will inform the user that they must purchase the full version to remove the "bad" file. 1Click will then open a web browser and display their product page.
