- Advertising: Ironically, AdDestroyer's purpose is to stop adware but it is adware itself. It creates popups which mimick system warnings, trying to get you to purchase the retail version of AdDestroyer.
- Security issues: AdDestroyer contacts its servers and downloads updates to itself. You have no guarantee that these downloads are safe.
