How come my bank website doesn't work anymore when I'm running GhostSurf?

Some websites need cookies to function properly. Many bank and shopping websites use cookies to store login information. You will need to either set the GhostSurf privacy level to "Normal" or set up a special site for the websites that need cookies to function.

Setting the Privacy level to normal:
Open the Privacy Control Center. On the "Privacy" page, there will either be a slider or a few checkboxes, depending on whether you've clicked the "Advanced..." button before. You can move the slider to "Normal" or you can uncheck the box "Block Personal Information (cookies)". This will allow cookies and let the website work properly.

Setting up a special site:
Open the Privacy Control Center. On the "Special Sites" page, press the "Add" button. In the window that pops up, enter the site you wish to allow cookies for. Leave the "Block Personal Information (cookies)" box unchecked. You may wish to check one or both of the other boxes; they control whether traffic to this website will be routed through the anonymous hubs and encrypted or not. When you click "OK" the special site will be added and the website will work properly.
