January 11, 2005 - Tenebril Inc.'s best-selling anti-spyware product, SpyCatcher 3.0 has been awarded Smart Computing magazine's Smart Choice award for January 2005, beating out three major competitors with an overall score of 4.8 out of 5. The review covered a number of criteria, including ease of use, range of features and overall effectiveness, as well as a manual comparison of the number and types of files found, and the quality of the online experience after the cleaning operation had finished. Smart Computing reviewer Heidi V. Anderson praised SpyCatcher for its "outstanding array of features in a user-friendly package", and noted the unique Reinstall Shield that prevents spyware from returning after it has been removed from the computer.
